These beautiful dream catchers are made for us by Tom "Gray Elk" Rael in the Cherokee style of dream catcher creation. Each is made of in the traditional style with red willow , artificial sinew, and with feathers from birds raised by Tom that are collected in a manner not harmful to the birds.
These dream catchers range from 3.5 inches wide to 6 inches wide and from 10 to 12" in length. The widths and lengths will vary and each dream catcher is unique and one of a kind. Each dream catcher has two feathers on the web and each feather type has special attributes. Each dream catcher is unique and made by hand by Tom. These are one of a kind Native American dream catchers.
Each dream catcher comes with a card from Tom explaining the Cherokee dream catcher legend that states.
"On the Trail of Tears, the Cherokee medicine men did not have the time to make the willow in a round shape. So as they webbed them, the willow would snap in the shape of a teardrop.
The Dream Catcher is a spiritual symbol of love and dedication from the Native American's way of life. Dream Catchers are given to persons who are cherished so that good dreams follow them all of their lives.
